March Delivered :)

I've always been a big fan of March.  S, not so much.  He thinks it's too muddy and cold and spring doesn't really happen until April.  I disagree.  March is when things start to happen.  On March 6th I saw, for the first time this year, daffodils poking through the ground.  Oh man was I excited!  And, although we're having a bit of a cold spell this week, last week we got a glimpse of summer with temps in the high 70s.  Lovely.  Just lovely.  Even better that the whole family was on spring break from our teaching/university positions and we got to spend the week outside together.  Family=love.

We went to Strattenbrook every day last week.

Especially with the move coming up, I've really been trying to incorporate a more Waldorf style of living into our home.  I'm hoping having a backyard, a family room where the computer is not in the center of the everythin,g and well, a Kitchen! will make it more achievable compared to our current apartment.  I'm so excited about setting up a Waldorf playspace and just having room in our own home to have fun with Asher.  Our children are going to have a home!  I can't stop thinking/saying it!

Oh, and speaking of, possibly (most definitely) the best part of this month . . .

Getting to meet see someone special on March 15th.

Baby #2 Hopefully joining us mid-October!

I was really starting to think this miracle would never happen.  Too many doctors and tests and talk of IUI/IVF and then on February 6th (when I only tested because we had to go back to the doctor), there it was.  Two lines.  I'm thanking God every single day for blessing us with this baby, and praying that any woman battling infertility will soon see those two lines.

February Re-Cap

Big month.  Like big big month.  Like 3 bedrooms and a great backyard kind of month.  Yay . . .

We'll hopefully be moving this month into April.  I'm so excited that Asher is going to have so much more space and a yard to play in.  We're close to a great big park with hiking trails, a playground, a nature center, and a barn with animals.  A bit sad about leaving Simsbury, but then again it's always taken me some time to get used to change.

Can I also add that I have the best husband ever?  He's so wonderful, and makes me so happy.  I love him so much.

More posts to come with news from our awesome month filled with great big news.  Change is just beginning. . .

Oh, and by the way . . .
I love him.  And his obsession with trucks.  And how we can go to the playground and rather than play with other toys, he will wait 40 minutes until this particular crane truck is available.  And that the first thing he says whenever he wakes up his "play."  And how recently he's throwing himself around my neck and saying "I Love You! I Love You! I Love You!" over and over and over.  And his Asher language: "minkus" (music), "woogies" (pierogies), "cottie cotter" (helicopter), "skeep" (sweep), and "skeet potatoes" (sweet potatoes).  And how he always wants to read the "cottie cotter book", even though we've never had a helicopter book.  Love.
